When: Tuesday, December 17th from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Where: PawsAbilities - 2073 E Santa Fe St. Olathe, KS 66062

What: Join the KS Eastern Chapter and Inclusion Connections PawsAbitlities with Belong KC in volunteering at PawsAbilities and help make dog treats & dog toys, cut fabric for their bandanas, and engage and interact with their students. PawsAbilities is a local nonprofit which provides skills training and job placement for young adults with disabilities in Kansas City. Students handcraft all natural dog products and work in their retail and mobile stores, learning customer service skills for future jobs.

Details: Upon arrival, your group will be gathered for check in where everyone will sign a volunteer waiver and receive a nametag. From there, we will give you a short tour of the building so that your team can learn more about Inclusion Connections and our mission. Once the tour is complete, your team members will be assigned to different areas, where you will work with our students to create handcrafted dog treats, toys, and more! At the end of the day, we will gather your group for a team photo and everyone will be invited to shop our store front with a special volunteer discount. All we ask from your team is to wear closed toed shoes and come ready to work and engage with our awesome students!

This is a great chance to support those within local community with disabilities and connect with other members of the chapter!

Public parking is located in the front of the building to the north.

All volunteers must be 16 year or older.
